A week set apart for families to grow, fellowship, and enjoy time together.

Iowa Homeschool Family Camp brings families together for a week of Biblical teaching, fellowship, activities, and time spent together as a family.

Held at Village Creek Bible Camp in northeast Iowa, Family Camp provides an opportunity to step away from the normal routines of life, enjoy time together, and build friendships with other families.

Family Camp is completely family oriented. Parents are welcome to keep their children with them throughout the day, allowing families to experience camp together.

The week provides opportunities for Biblical encouragement, fellowship, activities, and meaningful time together as a family.

You don't have to bring your entire family to attend Family Camp.

Each year, Family Camp welcomes entire families as well as singles, grandparents, and parts of families. Whether you come with your whole family or only part of it, you are welcome to join us for the week.

Meet the Staff Families

Meet the families who help make Iowa Homeschool Family Camp possible.

George & Laura Craig

George and Laura Craig have eleven children ages 12–28 including five married adults and five grandchildren. They live in southwestern Ohio on their 44 acre homestead which they named Heritage Hill as a way to remember that God has entrusted their children to them for a brief time to raise for Him as a heritage of life.

The Craigs are passionate about many areas of life including music, homesteading, home education and physical fitness. George works as a control system engineer and Laura is a full-time home manager. They have lived in Ohio since 2002 and have attended Iowa Homeschool Family Camp since 2014.
